The new swimming pool Groenhovenpark in Gouda will be automated by Syx Automations
In February 2008, the local council of Gouda (the Netherlands) decided to close the three existing swimming pools and to start the construction of a new swimming pool complex in Groenhovenpark. Alderman of sports Marco Kastelein: “The construction of one new swimming pool will allow the city of Gouda to better meet the future demands of swimming associations in Gouda. The capacity offered by the existing swimming pools is not in line with the capacity needed for all target groups: swimming lessons, top-class sport, swimming for target groups and recreation. A new swimming pool will also offer sufficient capacity in the future so that talented swimmers as well as recreational swimmers will have all the space they need in Gouda.”
Syx Automations will provide the new swimming pool with software, cash desks, a self-service kiosk and access control, including picture displays.
The new swimming pool will be opening in 2013.
